About the camp

Olameinu Baltic Summer Camp is an annual biggest Jewish summer camp in the region for children aged 7 to 17 y.o with its rich history of more than 20 years.

Together we aim to create lifetime memories for our participants by organizing and designing meaningful experiences through informal Jewish education.

We believe that by giving our children an opportunity to practice their culture, build friendships and explore themselves within the warm and safe environment of Olameinu, we are naturally assisting them in training their leadership skills, supporting their Jewish identities and together continuing to co-create our common Baltic Jewish community.

In Olameinu you will find:

Each year we are meeting our campers with fresh and exciting camp experiences.

With our talented team of professionals and volunteers we are making sure to fill the program with a wide range of activities and themed events with new things to learn and explore.

Friendly Community

Olameinu is the place where campers come together to build beautiful and strong bonds, formed by common interests, values, traditions and shared experiences.

Our goal is to provide a safe and loving environment for campers, supporting the desire to always come back to the camp and participate in their communities' lives in between.

Passionate Team of Madrichim

The heart of our camp are Madrichim with diverse local and international experience of camping.

Madrichim are serving as a positive role model to our campers and guiding them through camp journey, showing just how much fun and meaning there is in Jewish learning in Olameinu camp and life!

Jewish Learning

In Olameinu we aim to assist campers on their Journey with Judaism, staying open to their believes and providing them with informal Jewish learning classes, educational, yet fun activities and discussions over Day-topics and of course common traditional practices and experiences, such as Shabbat, Havdalah and Tikkun Olam.

Topic of the camp

To surely provide our campers with diverse and engaging content of the camp programs, our team carefully picks one relevant and meaningful Jewish topic.

We are picking up one fresh topic each year to ensure learning continuation, meanwhile keep always remembering some of the most valuable Jewish practices.

Creative Workshops

Israeli Dancing and Singing classes, Jewish-themed arts, sports and scouting, as well as organized special events.

In the schedule campers could also find “Hugim” - additional workshops organized by Madrichim according to their personal interests.

On a daily basis, campers explore workshops with their groups and in free rotation.

Skill-building environment

Olameinu camp is a perfect place for campers to practice communication skills and learn how to collaborate with their peers during many of our daily activities; exercise their imagination and creative energy through fine arts; self-care skills to develop independence.

Leadership, problem-solving, critical-thinking, decision-making аnd self awareness - we believe that all those things are crucial not only for the grown ups!

Kosher-style Menu

Our campers have nutritional kosher-style meals 3 times a day with flexibility for different dietary restrictions.

The entire camp eats together as one big family accompanied with joyful singing and cheering.
